Rock It Goal!

Sing, dance and play our way! Rock ‘n’ Kids has been providing Tot Rock and Kid Rock classes and Kid Rock ‘n’ Roll parties since 1995! All of the components of a Rock ‘n’ Kids class or party work together to achieve the overall goal:

“To provide a fun and educational environment for young children to learn about themselves and the world around them through music.”

• Music/Rhythm: These activities include songs and rhymes, instrument play and an introduction to rhythms, sounds, tempos and counting.
  
• Movements: This involves work on coordination, fine and gross motor skills, basic dance steps, and body and space awareness.
• Imagination: Our creative play activities are the glue that holds our curriculum together. This is a crucial and unique aspect of our programs!
  
• Socialization: Children learn about interacting in a group, following directions, sharing, and taking turns, while gaining independence and self-confidence.

Studies show that children who grow up hearing music, singing songs, and moving to the beat enjoy what experts call "a rich sensory environment." That environment helps them do better in reading and math when they start school, improve their focus, play better with others, and have a higher self-esteem! What better way to start your child off on the right “foot” than with a Tot Rock or Kid Rock class!

Wiggle, giggle, jump and play! See a birdseye view of a Tot Rock and Kid Rock class in action! On this day, parents and children in Woodstock learned the rhyme "Hey Diddle Diddle" and participated in songs and activities that related to it. It's fun and learning rolled into one!
